Pediatric Podiatry

Children and toddlers may suffer from various foot problems. A full assessment may be performed by a Podiatrist to identify the source of the problem.

 

Common assessments include evaluation of developmental biomechanics, joint range of motion, muscle strength, and examination of pediatric foot  posture.

 

 

Commonly treated conditions include:

  • Pes planus (flat feet)
  • Intoed gait (pigeon toed)
  • Verrucae (warts)
  • Growing pains
  • Metatarsus adductus
  • Toe walking
  • Juvenile hallux abducto valgus (bunion)
